The Coach House is a converted Georgian era outbuilding that overlooks a pretty courtyard to the front and picturesque mountain stream to the rear. Extensive private grounds include paddocks where sheep and cattle graze among specimen trees and woodland areas with walks.
The holiday cottage lies at the end of a long tree lined driveway on the edge of the peaceful hamlet of Cilybebyll, on the east facing slopes of Cwm Tawe (the Swansea Valley), a gateway into Brecon Beacons National Park.
Picnic tables are situated on the courtyard lawn, where guests can spend evenings, sitting beneath the giant beech trees watching the sun go down on the Welsh countryside. There is free wireless broadband in the cottage and courtyard areas.
The cottage is graded five star by Visit Wales and is a 2014 Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence winner. The cottage has a master bedroom and twin bedroom, both of which have exposed beams.
The property has a private enclosed patio area to the rear with picnic table overlooking a scenic mountain stream as it passes between the courtyard and farmyard on it’s way to rendezvous with the sea in Swansea Bay. The windowsill in the master bedroom is a great place to sit and spot wildlife in the stream below – grey wagtail, dippers, heron and wild trout are frequently spotted.
