3 January to 7 January
“In temperatures of minus 8, a very warm and comfortable house. All the pans and dishes and a good oven for cooking. Thank you very much for our stay here.” Mr & Mrs Leach from Yorkshire

11 January to 16 January
“Thank you for a wonderful stay. The holiday cottage is very homely and we really loved the area. My 7 month son and I found your itineraries perfect and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves whilst my husband was working. Thank you for your hospitality and we will definitely be back.” The Morgan Family from Cheshire

14 February to 18 February
“Our second stay here – fantastic once again and weather better than last July! Tenby was lovely a great day out in Cardiff Castle (was fab), and recommend the Big Pit and free too! Butchers Arms, Alltwen very nice for dinner – mid week early bird £11.50 for 2 courses. Dyffyn Arms great once again for standard pub grub. Will be back. Thanks.” Mel, Rich & Laura from Woking

19 February to 22 February
“Lovely holiday cottage, super views, extremely relaxing.” The Bowen Family, Cambridgeshire

21 March to 28 March
“Excellent comfortable cottage – perfect for purchasing cockles, laverbread and Welsh cakes in Swansea Market. Many thanks and best wishes.” The Willis Family, Old Colwyn, North Wales.

4 April to 11 April
“This was our second visit to Plas Farm which proved just as enjoyable as our last time. The cottage is so comfortable and homely. On Sunday we walked the Plas Farm Trail. Would highly recommend. The views from the top are marvellous.  We hope to come back again. Many thanks.” Janet & Joan, Nottingham

11 April to 14 April
“This was our first visit! First of many more we hope. The cottage was better than expected, which as we were expecting it to be as good as brochure/website, was a first class delight as everything catered for us. With three children, 5, 7 & 13 – they and we were glad of our surroundings. We all loved doing the Plas Walk. Got slightly lost on number 4 to 5 but made it back on track to 10 and back to farm. All good fun.  Thank you for wonderful few days. “Lisa and Del from Leamington Spa
“Brilliant holiday “ D & Y
“Super holiday” B
“Fantastic adventure holiday” Alana

25 April to 2 May
“Lovely holiday cottage. Enjoyed ourselves immensely even though weather was a bit wet at times. We still found plenty to do on our first visit to Wales. Will be back.”Liz & Keith, Berkshire

10 May to 16 May
“Six times? Seven times? Whose counting? Still as comfortable, convenient and quiet. “ Pam and Peter from Norfolk

23 May to 30 May
“Weather not too bad. Fab cottage. Been coming for many years now and will continue for many more. Didn’t expect my hubby to help a lamb to be born. Was great to see. Looking forward to next year.” The Josephs from Walsall

6 June to 13 June
“Our first visit to Plas Farm and it was everything we imagined. Beautiful cottage, gorgeous location and ideal for getting our and about. The suggested itineraries were very useful and we packed as much as we could in each day. Thank you!” Cathy & Ray, Northamptonshire

13 June to 20 June
“Our sixth visit! Absolutely superb week. We have had a lovely time just mooching about. Written so many postcards my pen ran out hence now writing with fountain pen! As usual everything here in Y Stabl is perfect, home from home, clean, comfy and idyllic. We had a lovely meal in Reynoldston in the KingArthur and were disappointed to find that the strawberry farm in Scurlage had closed down! We went to Caswell Bay in the Gower not far from Mumbles and it was beautiful and much quieter than Langland and Rhossilli. It also had a lovely cafe and showers in the car park to wash sand off your feet/kids/pets!! We have missed Holly this year – had no canine friend to feed tit bits too. We will be back again next June and hopefully before weather permitting!” Kathy & Jill, London

4 July to 11 July
“Our first and hopefully not last visit to Plas Farm. A wonderful cottage and perfect jumping off point to explore South Wales. Thank you.” Peggy & John, Ontario, Canada

18 July to 25 July
“What a lovely place. People are lovely. If you want a good but cheap dinner try what the locals call The Gwachel. Its a lovely pub at the bottom of the fly over as you come into Pontardawe – and if you have kids Folly Farm near Tenby is a great day out and Three Cliffs Bay at Gower is excellent. You can park at Shepherds Tea Rooms and follow the path along the river. It’s about a mile walk but well worth it.” The Tarrant Family, Chichester, West Sussex

22 August to 29 August
“Lovely cottage. All the little touches appreciated – badges, cards etc. Rhossilli Bay is beautiful. Margam Park is a great day out. Our daughter liked the park outside.” Adrian, Cathy & Alice from Hampshire

30 August to 2 September
“Had a very enjoyable and relaxing time once again in this lovely cottage despite almost constant rain! Gwili steam railway near Carmarthen was good. Loved Kidwelly Castle and St Fagans requires another visit. Dyffryn Arms was good as always, Cantonese takeaway in Pontardawe was excellent. Will be back asap! P.S. Indian Cottage in Pontardawe is very good!” Mel, Richard & Laura, Woking

21 September to 26 September
“My second stay at Y Stabl – just perfect.  The good weather promoted sitting outside at night, listening to the brook, looking at the stars and hearing amazing bird calls. Y Stabl is a home one loves to return to after venturing forth to all that the surroundings offer. It simply completes everything and the sound of the brook calm one to contemplation of all that is experienced in quiet koy. I will return soon.” Gale from USA.

26 September to 2 October
“Y Stabl has been perfect home away from home. Everything that one could have imagined was here – including the rolling pin! We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and what seems like the beginning of our travel to South Wales. Thanks for fab hospitality. Richard’s book was very insightful and funny.  We travelled the surrounding are on public transport and it’s terrific! Looking at sheep and enjoying the sound of river flow will be my memories of this glorious week. Thanks.” Mr Sharma from London

19 October to 23 October
“We loved our short stay in Y Stabl, shorter than planned because I got the dates mixed up. The cottage is beautiful both inside and out. The stream just outside is delightful. Unfortunately we couldn’t appreciate it fully because of the inclement weather. We loved the farm trail walk apart from getting stuck in the bog, still we had a good laugh. Sadly I don’t think we will be back this way (such a long trip) but will certainly recommend it to any of our friends planning a stay in this area. This place is very special and we feel very privileged to have stayed here. Thank you so much.” Lois & Lorraine from “Sunny Australia”

12 December to 16 December
“Our fourth stay here and another very pleasant one. We like the new television. Everything fine as usual. Thank you.” Robert & Judith from West Yorkshire

23 December to 27 December
“Fabulous cottage! Love the new T.V. Everything you need in this cottage, had a great time. Weather behaved! Lovely crisp and even! Thank you once again.” Ray, Trish and Dave from Lancashire.
