“Thank you! The cottage was a lovely break. Just what we needed. Even the fab Welsh weather didn’t get us down!” Shaz & Phil, Aberdare
22 January to 25 January
“A very lovely cottage. Near to many wonderful places. We have had a very good time. This is the right place to spend your break. Will be back again. Thank you.” Sami & Hana from Southampton
20 February to 23 February
“We’ve had a lovely time thank you – although not nearly as restful as we had hoped – due to early morning calls form the boys. We particularly enjoyed The Mumbles (the pier reminded us of our childhoods), the waterfall and the monkey sanctuary. The holiday cottage is lovely and your literature incredibly helpful and informative and quite funny in places! We’ll be back. Thanks again.” The Hughes Family, Chipping Norton
23 February to 1 March
“We’ve had a super week. Even the weather held out until the last day! Highlights were ‘Big Pit’ and the Millennium Stadium Cardiff. Also managed to do some geocaching, visiting the waterfalls was memorable. Going home to find a recipe for the Welsh cakes we have become addicted to! Many thanks.” The Ramsey Family, France
1 March to 7 March
“Had a lovely stay in a comfortable cottage. Weather has been great for this time of year. Hope to visit again sometime in future.” David & Angela from Lincoln
28 March to 30 March
“Really enjoyed our stay at Y Stabl. Shame that the weather was wet but we visited Show Caves. Highly recommend Henrhyd Falls – bit of a walk from car park (and sleep on return journey) but really worth it – beautiful! The cottage is in a good location for exploring Gower and Brecon Beacons. We hope to return next year to walk the Plas Farm Trail and visit more of the area. Thank you for a relaxing stay.” Sian and Nathan, Leamington Spa
1 April to 8 April
“The accommodation and area was more beautiful than we could have imagined. We all had a wonderful time.” The Bremner Family, Fife
10 April to 14 April
“We have been staying in the area actually for 17 years since we moved away. We’ve had a variety of cottages and holiday homes over that time. This is probably the nicest we have tried, so expect us back next year. Love the wood burner – so relaxing. Thanks so much. A great short break.” The Williams Family, Minehead, Somerset
25 April to 28 April
“Great to have somewhere to where we can stay with two other sets of friends on a university reunion. Perfect setting and home for kids and adults alike! Very well equipped cottage. Thank you!” Beverley, Kevin, Euan & Freya, Northern Ireland
2 May to 5 May
“A lovely holiday cottage in a beautiful area and such a warm welcome. This was a great base from which to go and watch the rugby in Cardiff and a pleasure to return to on an evening to relax. Wish we could have stayed longer so we could have explored the surrounding countryside a bit more. Would love to come back and maybe bring the kids. A real pleasure. Thank you.” Neil & Ann from Yorkshire
10 May to 17 May
“Many thanks once again. Hope to come again later in year.” Joyce from Dorset
17 May to 24 May
“Thank you for a fantastic week. Everything we needed in this beautiful cottage to make our holiday perfect. All the little extras made such a difference. We will be back. Can’t wait!” Helen & Doug, Northants
31 May to 6 June
“The farm and cottage are beautiful. The cottage is so comfortable and well equipped that it nearly does fell like a home from home. We have spent every day exploring South Wales, and still have plenty left to do. I’m sure we’ll be back for another visit. Many Thanks. P.S. We found the local information in the black folder was wonderful – it helped us to keep busy rain or shine.” The Thomas Family, Peckham, London
15 June to 19 June
“Great base to visit near family. Lovely home from home!” The Holl Family, Essex
21 June to 28 June
“Well, this is our fifth visit to Plas Farm, our first time in Y Stabl (normally stay in Hafod Y Wennol) and we have had a super time! As always perfect hosts, Holly is looking spritely and cuddly as ever. The week has gone far too quickly, so we need 2 weeks! This holiday cottage is lovely, clean and comfy and has everything one needs. This time we went to the Dan Yr Ogof caves, yet contrary to their website which says “suitable for all” it wasn’t suitable for the elderly/infirm or for wheelchair users or pushchairs. The first cave has 120 steps! Inside and the terrain around the caves is very steep – so beware! Having said that, they looked beautiful and the grounds spectacular with dinosaurs etc. We have loved our week here again. It is with much trepidation we return to London. So a big thank you for a warm welcome, sorry we didn’t get to have a cup of tea with you – next time! Love and kisses (especially to Holly)” Kathy & Jill, Notting Hill, London
28 June to 2 July
“We loved the holiday cottage. Thank you” The Potter Family
2 July to 9 July
“Had a fantastic week! Loved the cottage. Would like to stay forever. Information folder was invaluable. Don’t want to go home but will definitely be back.” Rich from Woking
19 August to 26 August
“All three of us have really enjoyed our time here. The cottage was lovely, extremely relaxing. If you have kids definitely recommend Folly Farm and the Gower beaches are amazing. Thank you.” Jenny, Paul & Lucy from Leeds
6 September to 14 September
“We’ve had a fantastic stay in a well equipped, clean and well situated cottage. We particularly enjoyed visiting Rhossilli Bay, Castell Coch and the Waterfall Country. The local information folder is fantastic and very helpful and proved very useful in planning our days out. We would recommend the holiday cottage to others, particularly those with young children. Many thanks for a lovely holiday” Mike, Pippa & Poppy from Hertfordshire
28 September to 1 October
“Second visit and hope to return. Very comfortable and pleasing. Thank you very much.” Judith & Robert from Yorkshire
4 October to 11 October
“We’ve had a fantastic week making the best of some mixed weather. Y Stabl has been a brilliant base for us – really comfortable facilities with all our needs catered for. The perfect base. We will certainly be back – hopefully in the spring/summer, where we can sit outside and enjoy the garden and the stream. We will also recommend you to others. Thank you very much” Graham & Jill, Leicestershire
11 October to 18 October
“Thank you very much for staying in your lovely holiday cottage. We really felt like at home. We have seen a lot of your lovely Wales and perhaps some day will return. Thank you.” The Kefer Family, Denmark
25 October to 1 November
“We would like to thank you for a fantastic week in your lovely cottage. All our needs were catered for. We come to South Wales from Nottingham to research our family history. We have been very successful and found most of what we cam to look for. Have been very lucky with the weather but need to come back to do the Farm Trail.” Joan, Michael & Janet from Nottingham
