18 January to 20 January
“A lovely relaxing weekend in a beautiful well equipped cottage. Disappointed that we were unable to do the Plas Farm trail (excellent read) as the rain didn’t stop but good to curl up by the fire. Thank you.” Tom and Michelle, Belfast.

7 February to 14 February
“Excellent abode for exploring (in our case by car). Comfy cottage and good to return home in the evening. Dyffryn Arms is very good if you don’t feel like cooking!” The Mullers, Assen, The Netherlands

29 February to 4 March
“Two complaints I’m afraid! The beds are too comfortable and the cottage is too cosy. Unable to get out of bed in the morning preferring to snuggle down under the duvet. When eventually we were out and about our thoughts drifted back to the cost sitting room and blazing log fires – reading the papers and snoozing!! We loved our days out – Gower and Brecon (no longer young enough to climb Pen-y-fan) and on day three the Rhondda, but looked forward to returning to Hafod Y Wennol. Enjoyed meals at the butchers Arms and Dyffryn Arms – thanks for the recommendations.” Deborah and Mike, Farnham, Surrey

6 March to 10 March
“Had a lovely time in this beautiful area. Sorry about the weather but it always rains in Wales! Great cottage and facilities, especially log fire. We will be back. Regards and thanks.” John, Judy, Chris & Kath, Torquay

29 March to 5 April
“Been coming here for 6 years and never been disappointed. Another great and welcoming stay. Thanks you.” The Ostrom Family, Fife, Scotland

5 April to 10 April
“A very restful time. Woke up to thick snow on Sunday! We enjoyed the Torchwood/Dr Who locations and exhibition. Perfect sunny weather for our trip to Worm’s Head, Rhossilli.” The Morgans from South London

14 April to 18 April
“A great base for a nostalgic trip back to my mothers birthplace of Pontardawe. Cottage is all you could wish for. Thank you.” Sue and Mair from Anglesey, North Wales

18 April to 22 April
“The cottage is beautiful, as is the location. We can’t wait to come back for a long visit.” Mandy & Julian, Northamptonshire

17 May to 24 May
“Very impressed by the information folders, the Swansea A-Z has been invaluable. We’ve enjoyed our stay in this lovely area and (thanks to the assistance of the Archives office) have tracked down the houses where my father, grandfather & great grandfather lived.” Margaret, Keith and Etta, Dalton in Furness, Cumbria

6 June to 12 June
“Another lovely week with super weather – only one day or night with rain! Looking forward to our next visit hopefully in September. Thank you .” Carol and Ken, West Midlands

21 June to 30 June
“Very good information folder and standard of accommodation. Very helpful whenever we had hicupps or questions. Nice place to stay, and nice and near to sea, mountains and other sights.” The Aasard Family, Norway

6 August to 23 August
“The weather disappointing but such a cosy cottage, and so much to do/see come rain or shine, we have had a lovely week in this beautiful part of the world.” Jill, Steve, Laura and Lucy from Suffolk

27 September to 4 October
“Priceless! With many fond memories.” Richard and Gail, Bend, Oregon, USA

15 October to 24 October
“What a beautiful and peaceful and varied part of the world. Cottage and facilities perfect. So many interesting places to visit on the doorstep and wider a field. Many thanks.” Richard and Pam, Taunton, Somerset

25 October to 1 November
“A warm and cosy cottage to spend an unseasonably cold half-term. We have loved the countryside particularly the waterfalls. The interned broadband access was brilliant for our teenage boys! Thank you for an enjoyable week.” Mrs Rimington, Droitwich Spa

31 October to 4 November
“Thank you – we really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage – even the weather was beautiful.” Annick & Phillipe, Quimper, France

11 November to 14 November
“The cosiness of the cottage made up for the Welsh weather. Hope to return.” Anne & Dennis, Lichfield

26 December to 29 December
“I will never forget this visit. Beautiful Christmas weather – great visit to Carreg Cennen and on the Sunday a 100 mile drive in glorious sunshine through Port Talbot, up the Afan Valley, Treorchy, then Hirwaun and my favourite road via Ystradfellte towards Sennybridge, Abercraf, Glynneath and back. Took mum for a curry at the Indian Cottage, excellent as ever! I won’t mention Aberavon losing to Neath! See you again soon!” Cath, Keith & Chris Northampton
