COTTAGE VISITOR BOOK 2004

| 2002 | 2003 | 2004 | 2005 | 2006 | 2007 |

11 January – 24 January
“We have had two wonderful weeks here in Wales. We have been extremely busy with one bible course so have not had much chance to explore the area but what we have seen was lovely. The local people have been incredibly friendly and kind to us, and the cottage was ideally equipped to serve as our base. Sorry not to have seen much of you, but thank you for all you have done for us.” Rachel and Garry from Didcot, Oxfordshire

21 February – 25 February
“Very comfortable and clean cottage. We had a great stay and were made welcome by the friendly locals! Very well equipped cottage – 6 of us in here didn’t feel cramped at all, we’ll be back!” The Holmes Family from Tunbridge Wells, Kent

5 March – 7 March
“What a beautiful cottage in a beautiful place! We love it and will definitely be back for another visit.” Neil and Paula from Abbots Langley, Herts

10 March – 17 March
“We came out here for a little break. Pity about the rain, but we enjoyed our evenings in front of the fire place, also the visits of Holly. Lovely cottage.” The Davies from Hamburg in Germany and Swansea, Morriston in South Wales

27 March – 3 April
“Sometime in Wales we wanted,
and with this cottage we were attracted.
Oh wow! Oh boy! And oh what joy!
This cottage is just perfect!
With pots and pans and lots of knick knacks,
made the stay cosy and idyllic.
The real log burner is a treat so rare,
the lounge is great, it’s hard to get out of there.
So thank you Mr and Mrs Bowen,
and not forgetting Holly!
For the stay, in this lovely cottage,
we’ll be back again it’s just so jolly!”
Shaun and Anita from Colchester in Essex

2 April – 16 April
“Have just spent two very restful, comfortable and most enjoyable weeks. The basis of our visit was genealogy so we have not taken too much advantage of walks, bird watching, or visiting places of interest but have enjoyed all of them to some extent. As for the accommodation we found it first rate. Rachel and David are excellent hosts and we enjoyed our many chats with them. At our advanced age it is doubtful we shall be this way again but we will have no hesitation in recommending the cottage to my younger friends and relations. Excellent.” Pat and Derrick from Ipswich in Suffolk

17 April – 21 April
“We really enjoyed our stay. The value is great, it was so peaceful and very good for the family. I will recommend you to my friends. Thank you for everything.” Dennis and Kim from West Lulworth in Dorset

Thank you!” The Hughes from Nottinghamshire

10 July – 17 July 2004
“We were unlucky with the weather but still never a dull moment. This is a perfect base for a family holiday in South Wales, we rode horses, cycled, walked, visited waterfalls, shopped, spent an evening on the beach, saw castle, a full day on the beach (Caswell Bay, Gower recommended) went swimming, played cards, went bat hunting and still more to do. So we’ll be back.” The Closes from Haslemere in Surrey

Rachel and David this place is a credit to you both. I think you two need a holiday you both work so hard – keep up the excellent work. Thank you.” The Smiths from Fife in Scotland

7 August – 14 August
“The internet website drew me to booking a holiday, and the immediate impression of quality was upheld when we arrived! We have all three of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. True, the weather has been very variable, but as hosts you have no influence on that, but the cosy, welcoming accommodation has provided us with a warm retreat. Your warm welcome and friendliness have made us feel at home, you have both done an expert job in your renovations. We hope to return – book us a week in the new house! Many thanks David and Rachel for opening up Wales for us. Thanks.” The Pearsons from Carlisle
