How many do the cottages sleep?
All our holiday cottages sleep 4 people. Each cottage has one
double bedroom and one twin bedroom. The maximum that we can accommodate
is 16 people in four cottages.
Do you take pets?
We accept pets in Bwthyn Y Saer and Ty Cerbyd but NOT
in Hafod Y Wennol or Y Stabl. There is a surcharge of £15
per pet per week to cover cleaning costs. Pets are not allowed
in the bedrooms or on the furniture. More on our pet

Are there any extra charges?
There are no extra charges for your holiday. The price
you pay includes heating, electricity, towels and linen.

What time can we arrive/depart?
Keys may be collected from the main farmhouse at any
time after 2.30 pm on the day of arrival unless notified to the
contrary by the property owner. They must be returned to the main
farmhouse before 10.30 am on the day of departure. The holiday
cottages will be available by 2.30 pm on the day of arrival. You
are requested to vacate the property by 10.00 am on the day of
departure.
What is provided for children/babies?
Cots (supplied with mattresses but without blankets)
and high chairs are available on request and are provided free
of charge. There are also swings and slides for children to play
with on the lawn areas.
Do the cottages have broadband internet?
Yes, all our cottages have unlimited wireless broadband internet
available free of charge. So if you bring a wi-fi enabled laptop,
you should have no problems surfing the net! There is more information

How do we book?
Provisional bookings may be made by telephone and must be followed
by receipt of booking
form and deposit in our office within three days. For all
bookings a deposit of 30% of total rental is required and until
this deposit is received any reservation made is provisional and
may be varied or cancelled without notice. Upon payment of the
deposit and subject to acceptance of the booking you become liable
for the balance of the rental. The balance of the rental is due
on arrival at the property. No reminder is normally issued. We
reserve the right to re-let the property if no payment is received
on arrival.
What is your cancellation policy?
In the case of cancellation we will return your rental
payment in full, less your deposit of 30% of the full rent. If
we are able to re-let the property on your behalf, we will return
your rental payment in full (including deposit), less an administration
charge of 10% of the full rent. If cancellation is accompanied
by a doctor's certificate, a full refund will be given.
Can I join your mailing list?
Yes. We occasionaly send out information of special offers,
late availability and other intersting news by email and by post.

What is there to do?
You will be spoilt for choice. There is something for
everyone from city, sea, mountains, castles, museums etc. We have
a very easy to use comprehensive information folder in each cottage
which has many suggested itineraries of what to do during your
stay. For more information please look at our South
Wales Travel Guide. Guests are also free to enjoy the countryside
that surrounds the holiday cottages.
How far are the holiday cottages from the beach?
Our holiday cottages are situated around 7 miles from
the coast as the crow flies and views of Swansea Bay may be obtianed
from the fields behind the cottages. The nearest sandy beach is
at Aberavon which is a 15 minute car journey. Swansea Bay is 20
minutes away and the Gower Peninsula with its host of world famous
sandy beaches is also easily accessible by car. The nearest Gower
beaches such as Caswell and Langland are about 25/30 minutes away
and the furthest point, Worms Head is a 45/50 minute drive. The
cottages are also in a great location for day trips to other stretches
of coastline such as Pembrokeshire Coast National Park to the
west (Tenby is less than an hour away) and the amazing rock formations
that make the Glamorgan Heritage Coast are about 45 minutes to
the east.

Where is the closest pub?
The closest pub is in the local village of Rhos, a 15
minute walk from your cottage (about a mile away). There are also
a number of pubs in the town of Pontardawe which is a 20 minute
walk.
What is there for children to do?
Not only will the children love the space and freedom
they will have exploring the countryside
around the cottage but there are many great attractions in
the area that are ideally suited to families with young chidren.
