“Thank you first for the people who maintain Plas. We came here on a one off short break that we found looking through the internet for somewhere we could get away from the hassle and troubles of the modern world through TV and radio, cities and modernised villages. As soon as we drove up the road to here, we knew it was going to be something special. The cottage is something else, everything you need is here, the walks are outstanding. Its peaceful, quiet and with sounds of nature everywhere. All we had to do was open our eyes. A very big thank you to everyone involved for this incredible journey around the Plas Farm. Nature = Evolution=I=You. To: C Sharp is to tune C Sharp with Nature. When you See Sharp, Your Eyes will be Open. One Life. Live It.” The Williams Family from Caerphilly, South Wales
P.S. We nearly made it to the summit if it wasn’t for the water bogged field so we turned back but we did see the sea! Maybe next time we will find a better route.

“We had a really comfortable stay in this lovely holiday cottage. We managed to complete three Afan Valley mountain bike trails – the Penhydd is the best one! The National Cave Centre was quite interesting - although we are a little too old to appreciate the large plastic dinosaurs! The cottage had everything we could wish for and our hosts were so friendly and helpful. Nice relaxing break for me? Well it would have been had I not been trudging up mountains on a bike! Lovely setting. Comfortable and clean. Thank you.” Steve and Sally from Ipswich

“Alas, we have to leave and return to normality. The drudge of day to day life and leave this little bit of heaven. We and our new puppy Jasper thoroughly enjoyed the Plas Farm Trail – many thanks for the handy guide in the plastic wallet – it was already a little dogeared – its even more so now – and a little damp! The excellent information folder has so whet our appetite for more. I am sure we will be back –there is just so mucgh to see and do around here! Many thanks for a fabulous visit." Mr & Mrs Porter from Lincoln

“What a wonderful two weeks we spent with this cosy cabin as our home. We were blessed with warm sunny weather and only a few rain drops one day. Communing with nature while on the Plas Farm Trail walk, in Cilybebyll, in Rhossilli, in Laugharne, at the Cistercian Abbey in Neath really centered us! We are thankful that you provide so many ideas about outings in South Wales. This country is beautiful - we go home relaxed, rested and rejuvenated and centered! We enjoyed hours of reading in the living room and appreciated the bed – we slept so well. The kitchen is a marvel, lacking nothing. With a rolling pin and board, I could even have made baked goods. Appreciated the clothes washer and the clothes line in the back – with a babbling river just below. Thank you. “ Anne & Thom, U.S.A.
3 October to 10 October
“Fantastically well appointed cottage. Thoroughly enjoyed our week here. Highly recommend visits to the Worm’s Head and Oxwich Beach (Gower), Aberdulais Falls and Red Kite Feeding on the Black Mountain. Ate at the Butchers Arms – extremely good but busy so be prepared for a wait. Good place for dogs too – our two have had a great time. Many thanks.” The Allens from North Devon |
