“Cottage is spacious yet very cosy. Folders of information very helpful and easy to use. We loved the scenery of the valleys – steep wooded hillsides and fast waters. We enjoyed The Plas Farm Trail but we did not find the hideout! We enjoyed Quad biking at Dulais Valley and Gorge Scrambling at Pontneddfechan, also Afan Forest Centre excellent for walking, also cycling and mountain biking. The Dyffryn Arms served very good food at reasonable prices. We’ve had some rain but still managed to have a good holiday!” The Davies Family from Radcliffe, Manchester

“This is such a great place to stay – the beds are really comfortable, your information book is the best we have ever seen and spot on distance wise etc. And rain or shine this give us everything we could possible hope for – thank you so much. We too enjoyed the Farm Trail but could not find the hideout. A trip to Rhossilli brought back many childhood memories though Oxwich Bay was easier to reach. The lads really enjoyed an afternoon on Aberavon beach – sand perfect for cricket.” The Hales from Essex

“Loved everything about the cottage but especially the stream at the end of our patio – what more can you ask for! Also loved the historic pictures of how the cottage was long ago – can feel that history. Good are to go to places from. Saw the many beautiful waterfalls, the amazing showcaves. Had great walks with Elsa our Labrador. Thanks for all the info in the folders and map all very helpful. Your eco thoughts have inspired us to increase our eco-awareness back in West Sussex. We did find the hideout but you have to look very carefully!“ The Robbins from Bognor Regis

“We had a wonderful stay. Loved the cottage, so comfortable and well equipped. Enjoyed reading the Plas Farm Trail which we managed to get slightly wrong and ended up on the wrong side of the river – oops! Our lurcher Tyson was a bit disappointed that we wouldn’t  let him go and play with the white wooly things he saw. Was lovely to be able to able to have the dog with us to go back home today totally stress free.” The Allen Family from Worcester

“Really lovely break again. Cottage is spotless as ever. The boys had hysterics in the Indian Cottage!! Weather cold and sunny – just right to see the Gower in all its glory! Lovely drive along to the Mumbles and round to Caswell. Tide was out so explored the rock pools and shore, before getting a bit cold at Oxwich, then a welcome pint in the King Arthur at Reynoldston.  Watched Aberavon stuff Bridgend 52-15 in the freezing cold before a magnificent meal in Blanco’s in Port Talbot. We all want to stay for the week.  See you in December”. Cath, Kevin and Chris from Northampton

25 November to 2 December
”I came to stay in this cottage as my husband was going through a heart operation in nearby Morriston Hospital. The comfort and peacefulness of this cottage most certainly helped relieve the stress. My relatives say they have never been in such a beautiful cottage and relaxing surroundings with very hospitable and helpful owners, and I couldn’t agree more. Hoping to come back again in less difficult times. The amount of history and photos attached to the cottage kept us entertained. Kind Regards." Rene from Quay West in Wales and Doreen from Stirling in Scotland

21 December to 28 December
“Another relaxing stay here. Yes it is possible to cook the full Christmas dinner in the kitchen! See you in 2009” The Taylor Family from Bridgport in Dorset.

28 December to 4 January
“A very comfortable and relaxing New Year break. Cottages ideallt located for exploring the Brecon Beacons and Gower. We really enjoyed the waterfall walks, Three Cliffs Bay from Parkmill and an exhilarating walk along Rhossilli Down and back along Rhossilli beach on New Years Day. We tried bot leisure pools in the area – Swansea LC2 and Aberavon Aquadome and found the Swansea pool much cleaner and exciting for the children (although a lot more expensive). Dian, Graham, Sam, Gemma and Snoopy (an exhausted dog) from Berkshire
