Bwthyn y Saer was once an estate carpenter's workshop. The fast flowing waters of the mountain river that runs alongside the cottages, once powered a waterwheel that powered the carpenter's tools.

The accommodation is all on ground level, offering easy access for wheelchairs. The cottage consists of a lounge-diner, two bedrooms, bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen.
