"We have enjoyed wonderful Welsh sunshine all week in the excellent accommodation at Bwthyn Y Saer. Full marks to David and Rachel. We have enjoyed the local walks but needed the O.S. map. Good birdlife in full song, spring flowers lovely. We can recommend Aberglasney house and gardens and also the Welsh Botanical Gardens also the fish for sale in Swansea market. Too much to see and do, not enough time!"

29 March to 5 April
"We were hoping to find a peaceful and relaxing retreat from which to explore South Wales, before our first baby is born. We found it!! A super cottage in a beautiful place. Waking up to bird song and a stream was just perfect. South Welsh people have been so kind, helpful and happy - a real tonic to be around smiley people. Thank you David and Rachel! "Very homely cottage with the welcome much appreciated. The surroundings and surrounding area is beautiful. Weather brilliant. Enjoyed walks to waterfalls at Pontneddfechan starting at the Angel Inn; the walk from Dinas Rock to waterfall Sgwd yr Eira - walk and waterfall - beautiful; and then from Gwaun Hepste car park (up the road from Pontneddfechan) to the Clungwyn waterfalls. Lots of other walks to do - will be back. 7 year olds upwards will enjoy the Quad Bikes at Taff Valley Buggy Trails Rhydfelin - £18.50 per hour." Malcolm, Debbie and Jake from Hampshire
