Judges Comments

The judges were impressed by the level of detail and amount of work that has gone into the materials produced for guests of the holiday cottages. It also impressed the judges that the company had written and published a book detailing the biodiversity and history of the grounds. This book is available for anyone to purchase, and is also in the cottages for guests to read.

Swansea Valley Holiday Cottages has proved year after year that small businesses can achieve a great deal in sustainability terms.

The business is a true example of sustainability in action.

Achievements
Guests are provided with extensive information on how to reduce their environmental impacts at home, not only whilst staying at the cottages.

They have developed an informative website on biodiversity and other environmental issues.
