Parva Farm Vineyard is situated at the
northern end of Tintern village on the hill behind the Wye Valley
Hotel. A visit to the Wye Valley makes for a great day trip from
our self catering holiday cottages in the Swansea Valley. Visitors
to Parva Farm are welcome for vineyard tours set in a working
farm environment with sheep, cattle and ponies. There is a car
park and picnic area, a gift shop selling vine related products,
silk flower arrangements and decorations, plants, Welsh wine and
farm produced Welsh cheese.
2006 was a successful year for Parva Farm - their rose, medium
dry and dry white wines all won awards in the U.K. Wine of the
Year Competition. They also did well in the South West Vineyards
competition, winning the Stewards Cup for the best rose wine and
a highly commended for their Bacchus 2005.
