Our holiday cottage accommodation is the perfect base for a fishing holiday and are ideally located to take advantage of the many river, sea and coarse fishing opportunities South Wales has to offer. The accommodation is only a five minute drive from one of Wales's top fishing tackle shops, HR Jones and Company Fishing Tackle and Baits in Clydach and about a mile from the River Tawe which offers the UK's cheapest trout, sewin and salmon fishing.

Mark is a competition sea angler and his shop serves as a base to an international fly fishing team. He is very well informed and can advise you on where is the best place to fish at the time of your holiday and also advise you on what licences and tickets are needed. If this isn't enough, he also offers discounts on some items in his shop to holiday makers at our cottages.

RIVER FISHING
Our cottages are about a mile from the River Tawe where trout, sewin and salmon may be caught. Day permits may be obtained from Mark at HR Jones Angling Supplies at a cost of £20.

SEA FISHING
Swansea Valley Holiday Cottages are about ten miles north of Swansea Bay and the Gower Peninsula which offers some of the best sea fishing in the UK. There are many charter fishing boats operating out of Swansea. COARSE FISHING
There are numerous world class coarse fisheries in South Wales. Our fishing holiday cottage accommodation is twenty minutes from White Springs Lakes, recently voted the UK's top coarse fishery by Anglers Mail. Another favourite is Margam Country Park which offers a great day out for all the family not to mention ponds stocked with Bream, Tench, Rudd and three different species of Carp.
